Staying Safe
Our students often speak about how welcome they feel in Glasgow and how friendly people are. Of course, like in every big city, it’s important to be cautious. You can read more about how to stay safe in the British Council’s Safety First booklet.
In the case of emergencies, call 999 to get in touch with the police, ambulance or fire department.
If you need to report lost property, you can complete this form.

Quality of the teaching. The teacher was excellent. The classes were always very well planned and organised. After each exercise, it was made clear what was trained and what the point was. Each week, there was a test. So, you could see quickly the progress you had made. Most of the exercises were carried out in groups, so we used the language all the time. The exercises were not unilateral, just the opposite, they were always varying. You never knew what would come next, it was never boring.” - Justyna, Germany

Our teacher has been absolutely fantastic. I cannot praise her more highly. She has been patient with us but with the correct balance of challenge to keep us working hard!

The courses are intellectually stimulating, fun, and hard work.

Live Language is more than just a language academy, it is a space of sharing cultures throughout English, which means that you will meet a lot of people from all parts of the world. Also, thanks to the Social Programme, you will have a chance to join different activities and travel across Scotland. I would recommend you without hesitation to join the Live Language family

It was well structured, and covered a good amount of content each week. I didn’t feel like we spent too long on one area, yet everything was explained clearly.
